This past week in Ugunja, Siaya wasn’t just another week… it was a full-on God move 🙌. From youth hangouts to revivals, here’s what went down:
🎯 Youth Sessions
- Day 1 – Relationships & Boundaries
Emmanuel Macharia kept it 💯: “Set your values, stand firm. Yes = Yes. No = No.” 150+ youths locked in. - Day 2 – Obedience
Hezekiah showed us that obeying parents isn’t “old-school”… it’s Kingdom vibes. Respect = Worship. - Day 2 Night – Parents & Church
Emmanuel Shavanji reminded both parents & youth: it takes a team to raise Godly champions. 👏 - Day 3 – Worth the Wait
Papa Benniah: “Purity isn’t weakness, it’s power.” 62 youths soaking it in. - Group Talks
Girls vibed with Magdaline, guys with John — talking self-esteem, purity & real struggles. Safe spaces = healing. 💕 - Day 3 Night – Sexual Abuse & Incest
Jireh Ochieng brought tough truths (2 Sam 13). Silence was broken. Chains were too. Attendance: 150+.
Crusade – Arise & Shine
Ligega Market (Ugunja) was lit Tue–Fri 🔥. Worship shook the ground, preaching pierced hearts, and over 200+ people showed up. Souls saved, bodies healed, faith revived. Jesus was center stage. 🎤✨
Door-to-Door Love
Four teams hit the homes around Ugunja. We prayed with families asking for school fees, healing, marriage restoration, repentance & comfort after loss. Every knock opened doors for hope. 💌
Sunday School Takeover
Theme: What’s Wrong With the World?
- Day 1: What’s Wrong With Me? (20 kids)
- Day 2: What is Sin? (77 kids)
- Day 3: Who Has Sinned? (90 kids)
- Day 4: What Does Sin Do? (95 kids)
- Day 5: How Can We Be Saved? (100 kids) 🎉
Total = 382 kids learning that Jesus is the solution. Seeds of faith planted early 🌱.
👩👩👧 Ladies First
20 women. One fire meeting led by Phoebe Apondo. They tackled motherhood, culture, preaching, prayer & hygiene. Real talk, real growth, real sisterhood. 💃
🌙 Revival Nights
9pm – late in Ugunja. Over 200 hungry hearts nightly. Preaching shook souls, altars flooded, and around 50 gave their lives to Christ. Testimonies of healing & deliverance kept rolling in. 🔥🔥🔥
One Week. Eternal Impact.
Ugunja witnessed it all — youth empowered, families restored, kids discipled, women uplifted, souls saved, and the whole community revived. 🚀
God’s love wasn’t just preached — it was felt. 💯
