The SPF Young Adults Ministry is thrilled to announce that we hosted a team of missionaries from Youth for Christ (YFC) Tanzania from November 9th to 15th! This was an exciting and spiritually enriching week for our community. The Tanzanian team brought a fresh wave of enthusiasm and dedication to spreading the Gospel, and we were blessed to have them with us.

Below is a brief overview of the daily events during our mission week:

Sunday, November 10, 2024 The Tanzanian YFC team kicked off their ministry in our various centers by preaching and teaching the word. Their powerful messages resonated deeply with everyone present. In the afternoon, the team joined other SPF young adults for a hangout session at Mission Centre, where they had the opportunity to fellowship and bond with over 50 SPF young adults. This time of connection was invaluable, allowing for deeper relationships to form and for the Tanzanian team to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within our community. The day concluded with a sense of unity and a shared commitment to the mission ahead. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as we shared stories, played games, and enjoyed fellowship. The Tanzanian team members shared their experiences and testimonies, which were both inspiring and encouraging. It was a fantastic start to what would be a week full of impactful ministry.

Monday, November 11, 2024 In the afternoon, the team had the opportunity to minister and interact with children at Hope Homes in Kapseret, sharing the love and message of Christ with the residents. Their visit had a profound impact, bringing hope and encouragement to those in need. We are incredibly grateful to the families who opened their homes to host our guests. Your hospitality made a significant difference, making the Tanzanian team feel welcomed and supported.

Tuesday, November 12, 2024 The YFC Tanzanian team, along with SPF young adults and members from the SPF E.T.S team, ministered at the Juvenile Children's Remand Centre. They connected with the children through the word of God, games, and one-on-one prayer sessions. At midday, the team conducted street evangelism at Kenya Service Area, ministering to Boda-Boda riders, vegetable vendors at the nearby market, shop vendors, and passersby. In the afternoon, the team continued their outreach efforts with a visit to the University of Eldoret (UoE) in collaboration with FOCUS. This partnership aimed to reach the student community with the Gospel. The Tanzanian team engaged with students through discussions, prayer sessions, and sharing personal testimonies. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and we are praying for a harvest and impact powered by the Holy Spirit. The team also ministered at Haven Recovery Centre, where two men gave their lives to Christ. These efforts reached more than 100 people, with 14 individuals deciding to give their lives to Christ. It was a day filled with divine appointments and transformative encounters.

Wednesday, November 13, 2024, The team ministered at REAL Hospital, reaching 71 patients and 56 caregivers. Later, we held an evening prayer service at Sirikwa Pentecostal Church-Central, led by the YFC-TZ mission team. Thursday, November 14, 2024, The team conducted street and door-to-door evangelism in the Sugunanga area, ministering to 39 individuals, with 14 giving their lives to Christ. In the evening, the team joined other youths and young adults at Mission Centre for a session of sports ministry and Bible study. The team ministered and had one-on-one prayer sessions with the youth. Friday, November 15, 2024, At 8 am, the team joined the REAL Hospital ministration team for a morning devotion session led by our Overseer. Later, the team left for Iten for sightseeing. Reflecting on the past mission week, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible work that has been accomplished.
